If you dye a 1.5k and 15k armor the same dye combo of the same type... will they come out the same color?

I saw a really cool 1.5k color kurzick which i want to put on 15k... but will it look the same if its the same armor?

They have a lot on armor and should be able to help you.

it says that they have different appearances.... but would that mean they would dye differently even though they are just 1.5 and 15k counterparts?
